How to read this

Each desk is staffed by people who ran the plant first.

We do not run a general sales team. Every sector below has its own engineers, its own approved manufacturing routes and its own stock policy. When you call, you reach the person who already knows what a wicket gate is.

Sector 01

Dams & hydropower

Hydro plant is designed for eighty years and maintained by people who inherited it. We work from the original commissioning drawings where they survive, and from measurement where they do not. Wetted parts get material certification as standard, because the water does not care what the invoice said.

We have cast bronze wicket gate bushings from a 1968 pattern, remachined runner seal rings to 0.05 mm runout, and replaced a butterfly valve actuator on a 1,600 mm penstock inside six weeks.

Sector 02

Turbines & rotating plant

Gas, steam and hydro sets share one problem: the parts that wear are the parts with the longest lead times. We hold rotating stock against nominated frames and keep an obsolescence register for every client on a Priority agreement, so the phone call comes from us before the outage does.

Every rotating assembly ships with its balance report. Coated components carry the coating batch record and the thickness map, not just a line on a delivery note.

Sector 03

Lifting & heavy plant

A crane out of service stops the whole site, not one trade. We supply slew rings, hoist ropes, brake assemblies, boom cylinders and structural pins for tower cranes, crawler cranes, ship to shore gantries and the earthmoving fleet that feeds them. Load bearing items ship with proof load certificates and a full material file.

We also handle the awkward end of this sector: obsolete European crane brands, port equipment from builders who no longer exist, and piling rigs that were modified on site twenty years ago and never drawn.

Sector 04

Precision machinery

Machine tools fail in the last micron, not the first. We source spindles, encoder heads, ball screws and rotary tables to the tolerance stated on the acceptance certificate, not the tolerance in the sales brochure. Where a rebuild is the better answer than a replacement, we say so.

Our machine tool desk keeps thermal growth data for the common five axis platforms, so a spindle swap does not turn into three weeks of chasing geometry.

Sector 05

Landmark construction

On a signature building the hardware is visible, load bearing and specified by name. We supply architectural metalwork to the finish sample, not the catalogue swatch, and we hold the matching stock through the defects period so a replacement in year three still matches the lobby.

Patination, brushing direction and edge treatment are recorded per project. When a panel is damaged in year five, we can cut a replacement that nobody will be able to pick out.

Sector 06

Clinical estates

A theatre out of action is a waiting list getting longer. We work to ISO 13485 and the EU MDR, supply against the estate asset register rather than a generic model number, and ship with the documentation your medical physics team signs off before an engineer is allowed to touch anything.

Where a component is restricted by the manufacturer we say so immediately, rather than taking the order and hoping. That answer has cost us jobs and kept us the accounts.

Some jobs cut across everything: a bearing is a bearing whether it turns a runner, a slew ring or a spindle. These services run centrally and are available to every sector.
